Jerry Jacques

Jerry Jacques grew up in the small town of Longview, WA where he cultivated his drumming skills. Watching and learning from his father, Jerry was determined to become an extraordinary drummer from a young age. Playing in drum corps from age 11 to 18 and making it to the DCI nationals taught Jerry the persistence and discipline that would take him to the next level as a drummer. Jerry then landed a 2 year scholarship at a local university to study music and business while keeping a busy schedule as an active drummer, playing with numerous bands around the Northwest. Jerry has played with several bands through out the years including Reaction(3yrs), Jay “Bird” Koder(3 yrs), 5 Guys Named Moe(4 yrs) And Ty Curtis going on 8 years now. Jerry Actively tours and records with Ty Curtis in Oregon, Washington, Texas and California. Jerry has also shared the stage with some of great players including Dk Stewart, Red Young, Laith Al-Saadi, Louis Pain and Gary Fountaine and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram. Jerry and The Ty Curtis Band have also opened for Eric Gales, Lucas Nelson and Robert Cray. Jerry also plays Piano and Keyboard making him a multi functioning musician. He released his own Solo Funk/Jazz CD in 2005 on the Nu-Tone Label titled "Streetside" and is currently working on multiple projects including Sessions, Remote Drum Tracking, Drum Instruction, Song Writing Collaboration, Audio/Video Recording & Demo Services at Crystal Cave Studio in Vancouver Washington.
