Hello fellow drummers and fans!

Thank you for visiting my site. Check out my calendar and see where I will be playing next..Also you can always catch me every week (when not on the road) at Billy Blues Bar and Grill (Vancouver WA)  on Tuesdays for the weekly (Tuesday Night music showcase) and also on Thursdays (when not out on the road) at the Cascade Bar and grill (Vancouver WA) for the weekly Jam Band PDX hosting the open jam nights. 

Interested in signing up for lessons.. I am open for lessons in my home studio in Vancouver WA. I have open spots on Mondays and Tuesdays. I teach all styles with an emphasis on Funk, R&B and Rock..

Jerry currently tours and records with recording artist "Ty Curtis"

 

When not touring or playing local venues with Ty Curtis, Jerry can be found playing other venues around the Portland area, hosting open Jam nights a few nights a week to playing local R&B,Jazz and Rock gigs around the area.

Jerry has recorded with Tracy Chapman, Wiseguys,Wayne Henderson, Carl Joiner, Head Full Of Drums, Brent Gunter, Jay "Bird" Koder, Ty Curtis, Rob Daiker and many other artist.

Jerry has played or is currently with Ty Curtis, 5 Guys Named Moe (a 12 piece power horn band, Jay "Bird" Koder. Wiseguys, Jimmy and the Blues masters, 24-7, Carl Joiner, Kenny Loggins band, Dweezil Zappa, has played with Stevie Wonder, The Tower Of Power Horns, Jimmy & the Bluesmasters, The country band "Flexor-T, Federico Pol and Jam Band PDX,  brend Gunter and many other rock, Jazz and R&B groups along the way. 

Jerry Jacques also is a keyboard player and songwriter. He released his own Solo Funk Jazz CD in 2005 on the Nu-Tone Label titled "Streetside" and is currently working on a 2nd sold instrumental Jazz CD to be finished in 2013.

Jerry grew up in the small mill town of Longview WA where he honed skills from a very early age.. Playing in drum corps from age 11 to 18 and making it to the DCI nationals his last year in drum corp.. from then on he went on to college to study music on a two year scholarship the later went to the university to complete with a focus on music and business studies all the time while still keeping a busy playing schedule.

To this day Jerry keeps as busy as ever with recording dates, club and touring dates as well as teaching at the local Vancouver music store (River City Music) on Mon and Tues.
